Family Values

I watch movies and series for lessons. Every story, every character has a point in the plot. I've been watching Heart of Greed and the latest episode from Hong Kong is episode 18 out of 40. The 'perfect', happy family is starting to show some flaws. I've concluded that there are 3 main things I consider as poison in any family, in any relationship, in life.
  1. Greed (Discontentment)
  2. Jealousy
  3. Money
In every family, you would think that having lots of money, wealth and prosperity would be the sole pillar to support it. As many like to put it, Money Talks! Yes, many poor families have their own financial woes that they had to fight through in order to survive. Wealthy families, despite having the wealth, there are bound to be some with greed to have more. The wealth is not enough. The heart is not content. They don't see that they had it all, they only see that they want more. They want to maintain and improve their status. No matter how happy a family is, when Money is involved, greed and jealousy take over and there will be no room for happiness.

I've personally met simple, poor families surviving daily struggles as one. The unity, the humble sense of worth, the teamwork, the contentment awed me so much that I wish I would never be rich in future. My wishes are simple. I wish my family to be content with what we have. I wish my family to hold hands and face every obstacle as a team. I don't want money to be the trigger point of any argument. I wish everyone to be happy for everyone without any slight jealousy in them. This is the perfect family in my eyes. Simple remedy for the perfect family to be happy.

It is possible.

It is the foundation for a successful country which leads us to a better world to live in.

Treasure first yourself, then your family, next, your friends and not forgetting, your enemies.

How true it is.. God says "love of money is the root of all evil".

Simple happy united family which love for each other is far more greater than the love for money is what I wish to have..
