The Bionic Woman
Bionic WomanLindsay Wagner is Jaime Sommers
I'm not sure anyone of you remembers, probably if you're around my age, you'll know this television series in the 70s which used to be my favourite.

Jamie Sommers using her super hearing power.(Top)
Bionic Woman and Six Million Dollar Man (Bottom)
I used to pretend I was The Bionic woman. I would try to jump from the top of my stairs, accompanied with my own sound effect, and as I landed on the floor and felt the pain on my knees, I would still feel good about myself. Anything macho I tried to do, the "Jejingjinggjinggg" sound effect would follow, as if it's some kind of magic spell that must be muttered in order to 'push the table', 'run upstairs' or 'carry my heavy school bag'. I would also pretend that the internal organs of mine were filled with robotic components and wires. So much for my fantasy. I'm just as human as any normal gal. Worse, a weak one also.
Now,the remake, Bionic Woman (2007) starring Michelle Ryan, a British Soap star will be showing in September on NBC. Check out the hot babe, she still can't beat my Lindsay Wagner lor. The one and only Jamie Sommers.

Extracted frm Wiki. History of The Bionic Woman
The Bionic Woman is a television series which spun off from The Six Million Dollar Man. It starred Lindsay Wagner as Jaime (sometimes, Jamie) Sommers, a tennis professional who was nearly killed in a sky diving accident, and was rebuilt by Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson) and Dr. Rudy Wells (Martin E. Brooks), who had also rebuilt The Six Million Dollar Man. As the result of her surgical implantation, Jaime Sommers had amplified hearing, a greatly strengthened right arm, and enhanced legs, enabling her to run faster than a speeding car.
The series ran on the American Broadcasting Company from 1976 to 1977 and on NBC from 1977 to 1978.
