Happy Mothers' Day

Mommy dearest,
Got my card? Happy Moms' Day! Again, the same goes every year, I regret that I couldn't be home to celebrate with you but I'm sure you know that you don't need a special dedicated day to know that your children loves you. ;)

I know you're always busy at work. Thanks for spending time chatting on msn with me whenever you can. I know you're reading this too, so I thought I dedicate a post for you today.

How are you, Miiii? I know I ask you this questions every week when I call home but I know your reassuring positive answers may not be entirely honest. Maybe, deep down inside, you have things you want to tell me but never find the courage to. Or maybe you have questions clouding your mind and hope i can help you clear. No matter what, I'm here if you're ready to talk. We're always here for you if you're willing to share.

The few times wihich I thought of you specially includes the time when I eat your handmade cookies which you generously let me bring back with me to Singapore, the time when I have my dinner bought from hawker centers. The years of living away from home, I've learnt to appreciate every little things you've done for us. From waking me up every morning to the constant nagging just so I'm able to lead a good life to letting me rely you on almost everything despite being an adult. Thanks for spoiling me,Mommy.

Since young, you and Daddy have been 'designing' and preparing us for our future. I'm the eldest and the most rebellious one of all. I've always done the opposite of your wise advice and everytime I screw up, you always stand by me, providing support and love. I'm sorry for being such a hard headed girl, I'm sorry for not being able to fulfill your dreams and expectations, I'm sorry for not being a good enough daughter for you and Daddy.

Unfortunately, hehe, you're stuck with me lor. I'm going to cling on you forever, Mi. I love you so much. Enjoy your special day.

With love,
Yin.
