Today,I wanna share a blog of a very beautiful and cheerful gal who died of ovarian cancer. I came across her blog and extracted this entry which made me cry. Just wanna share this wif you all to take good care of yourselves and your family.
Her blog archives dated 2005 - 2006, spent her last days sharing the journey. Showing the nice food she tried before she died. Made me realize that we should not complain AT ALL.

22/01/06 CHANGE OF DRUG
This is the third drug I'm trying out. Thanks for the comments and encouragement and suggestions. I'm sorry to say this but today, I'm losing hope.To everyone out there, trust me, cancer is the last thing you will wanna get in your body. I met this woman who sat beside me during chemo on friday. She used to work in KFC and ate that very often. she's got gastric problems then ovarian problems (prob due to overdoes of hormones inside chicken) and now the tumour spreaded to her legs.Whatever it is, take good care of your diet. Do not eat too much processed foods, artifical colouring and preservatives, do not become anorexic or bulimic, try to quit smoking and limit alcohol intake. When your health is ruined, its too late for regrets.Teasure your family members and your partner. I never knew my mum will be so soft-spoken with me, we were always arguing with each other. I even fought physically with my dad and sis before. Now I realise, they are the ones who will stand by you no matter what. No matter how high my medical bills are, how much crying they have to go through with me whenever bad news come. I regret all the pettiness I had, not bearing enough thanks and gratitude for my parents for simply giving me my life. Dear I love you too.

AKIRA brand SUCKS!!!!

People, this is to remind you all to never buy anything from AKIRA. NEVER never again to get something made from CHINA!!!
Have you ever seen a rice cooker melt? My brand new Akira digital rice cooker (Cost $65) wasn't functioning just after 3 weeks and it was sent in for repair for 2 weeks. I had it back this week and while cooking rice, a plastic burnt smell came out. When I opened the cooker, I saw that the whole pot melted into the cooker. The rice was burnt inside. I shall never again buy anything from AKIRA ever again.

Where is the North?

I'm confused...what am I supposed to do when I dunno what I'm supposed to feel? Do I actually tell myself what to feel? Or do I actually feel the feel I'm supposed to feel? Life is certainly not very kind to us sometimes when it plays tricks and misguides visions. We lose the ability to think, to behave, to feel and most of the times, we lose the control we have over ourselves for the longest time. I often repeat the same mistake I make again and again. What is the use of telling myself what to do? I told myself that I'm old enough to decide what is best to feel but the petit cur is like a compass. And the needle is always pointing north.

And now, where is the north?

Watched SATC, the Movie earlier and I came back smiling, sighing and laughing to myself in the bathroom when I recalled back the show I thoroughly enjoyed for 2.5 hours. I used to be madly obsessed with the show from season 1 to 6, the finale and I was actually sad when the HBO show ended.

This is the FABULOUS show about 4 women in FRIENDSHIPS in FASHION, all FANCY and F**KING FUNNY!!!! And now, they're no more the Single gals in Manhattan but have been upgraded to FAMILY!

well..except for my fabulous Samantha...who celebrated her 50th birthday wif the gals after leaving the sexy Smith.sigh ....n she got herself a horny dog...just like herself. keke

And not forgetting MR BIG....who's ever so delicious ...still as handsome as ever, broke our hearts when he idiotically left Carrie at the alter...well...almost.

Heartbreaking moment...i had tears in my eyes when Charlotte screamed NO at Mr Big when he tried to get to Carrie after she hit him with the bouquet.

The best part was when the girls stuck togeher, went off to Mexico at Carrie's honeymoon suite and the friendships between them just made me cry. The gals took turn making sure Carrie was alright and it was BEAUITFUL.

Loved the Clothes, Loved the Shoes, Loved the Wedding Gowns, Loved the Gals, Loved the jokes, Loved the sex, :) , Loved the City, Loved the DRAMA.

I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the sequel.

Steam boat on a hot night

Question:- What do people do after work on a hot, Friday night?
Answer:- Lets go for steamboat buffet....duhhh

HYB decided to go for this hot meal last Friday and chit chatted at Char Chan Teng until 2am.

So, HYB -( HM +Gal +Dajie) went to Bugis for Steamboat...very nice lor,the food, the waiter, (doraemon guy) was very helpful, however one waiter didn't bring me my bowl. It's ok lar, it's about $17.50 per pax and it's so much nicer than Seoul Garden..the *&^%# restaurant.

I just got to know that there is someone actually reading my blog all these while, someone I know and admire but shy to talk to. It's just very flattering and I wish I blogged more since lately, I've been swarmed with work and changes around me. Been coping well and I'm now going to be working on moving nearer to my new workplace. Wish me luck that I'll find a nice place with nice landlord at a reasonable price.

Haha...to think I was really hesitant to attend the company dinner and dance...this year's dinner was quite fun with the hilarious programmes planned and I never thought i would be so lucky to win a lucky draw prize. One of the top 10 winners, i was lucky winner No 6.

We bitch about our miserable, monotonous lives, we moan about our dead end jobs, we cry about our little so-called failures, we scream about our enemies attacking us.

First born child into his devout Serbian Christian family, Nick Vujicic was born in Sunnybank, Brisbane, Australia, limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. Initially his parents were devastated, however Nick turned out to be otherwise perfectly healthy.
His life was filled with difficulties and hardships. One such hardship was not being able to attend a mainstream school because of his physical disability, as the law of Australia required, even though he was not mentally impaired. During his schooling, the laws were changed, and Nick was one of the first disabled students to be migrated to a mainstream school. He learned to write using the two toes on his left "foot", and a special device that slid onto his big toe to grip. He also learned to use a computer and type using the "heel and toe" method (as demonstrated in his speeches). He can also throw tennis balls and answer the phone (also demonstrated in speeches).
Being bullied at his school, Nick grew extremely depressed, and by the age of eight, started contemplating suicide. After begging God to grow arms and legs, Nick eventually began to realize that his accomplishments were inspirational to many, and began to thank God he was alive. When he was seventeen, he started to give talks at his prayer group, and eventually starting his non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs. - from Wikipedia

Prayer for Baby Patz

Lately, the inconsistent weather is to be blamed somehow for the long queues in local clinics and hospitals. Everyone seems to be falling ill and I've been under the weather too. My tonsils were swelling and fever came and go but that's nothing compared to HYB baby Pat's continuous series of illnesses. Since returning from her hometown after her late mother's passing, she had been attacked by nasty viruses which caused her to be really sick for about 2 mths now.

Nagging fever which comes and goes, nasty sorethroat, coughs, diarrhea and just yesterday, she had a really bad gastric pain early in the morning which resulted in vomitting anything that goes into her poor, little mouth. Eefu had been suggesting for her to go temples to be blessed and the SS gals, Shin and Sann are assigned for this task. We, HYB are really worried for baby Pat's health.

Here, I would like to dedicate a prayer and I urge you all to pray along with me so that she'll get better soon.

Dear Father God,

I commit Pat to you, dear Father, for in your Hands, nothing is impossible. Lay your healing spirit on her, Lord, so she may be protected from all evils and viruses which harm her physically and mentally. God, please give her a layer of Your divine 'antibodi' so she'll be healthy and happy as always for she's been trying hard to be her happy self despite all the misfortunes that happened to her. I pray to you God, for your healing power be upon her as she needs Your blessings and protection at this difficult time. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Baby Andrea joined the Yong's family on the 30th November 2007 and I finally get the chance to hold, kiss, feed, smell her and snap some really cool photos of my beautiful god daughter.

She looks the splitting image of Roy to begin with, along with the same cool, aloof, steady look. And the wide, double eyelid eyes, she inherited from Tok Heng.

Andrea is fairly easy to satisfy. Feed her every 3 hours and hold her til she falls asleep are all you have to do to make her happy. Minding her own business contently while we had our lunch, she stared blankly in all directions and I managed to capture these few below.
