reminiscing over the rainbow: Karaoke Nite for the Gals

After a gruelling hard week at work, Friday was indeed the best day of the week. Besides

Saturday and Sunday, of course. It's time when you can forget about work, you can forget about your own name, you must forget who's your boss too but never never never forget about PLAY!!!

Hwee Miang and our respected Ta Jie, Christine who can sing Sandy Lam's song as if she was from her era. (Almost made me tear up with that sad song.)

After a nice fulfilling dinner, the session started off about 10pm. I know for the boys, their sessions will mean booze and lotsa booze but for cute, simple gals like us, our sessions normally mean dinners, shopping or karaoke.

Presenting Patricia, the only singer who tries very hard to keep her eyes open during her performance.

I realized that we have lotsa superstar potentials around us. Just barely 10 mins into the room, the song selections were already made and the night was set to go.

Reason, cos she's a damn good singer. She is able to sing ANYTHING!!

No kidding. Eve's got power, man.

As for me, I can only ACT as if I know how to sing, but actual fact remains. I can only squeak a few lines out. If I happen not to be shouting too much at work that day.

Hwee Miang is also our so called, Yang Cheng Lin's die hard fan. Not only she can sing like her, she can also act cute like her lorrr...

I dunno why but I like this photo a lot. It looks really retro and full of mystery. Christine could be thinking I'm a real brat for candid shooting everyone but I think she's just day dreaming.

Sometimes I wonder why the hell we grow old. Why can't we stay young and cute forever? Really, if the heart is young, youth will follow suit wherever we go.
